Fast Audio Converter can help you convert between multiple audio formats. Its interface is very intuitive, and the conversion procedure will be even easier if you have some previous experience converting between formats. First, you can create a list to which individual files or complete folders can be added. Although it is not absolutely necessary, you can then edit the file tags. This way you can specify such file properties as title, artist, track, album, genre, and year, which will be of invaluable help during cataloging and searching processes.
The next required step is to select the output format, and you can additionally specify the desired quality. Although the output files can be created in the same source folder, the program also allows you to choose any other folder from your system, including those in external and network drives. Other output locations include iTunes.
Fast Audio Converter can perform very fast conversions. However, it does have some disadvantages that you might want to consider before spending any money. Let me warn you that it does not let you preview an audio file and it does not integrate with the system. There are utilities that can perform easier audio conversions via the contextual menu at Windows Explorer. I would appreciate that Fast Audio Converter were not only fast at converting, but allowed me to convert audio files in fewer steps.
